In the beginning there are no legalities. Life beckons us - a seemingly hazard-free, unknown universe waiting to be discovered.
Somewhere along the line, our fairy tale has accumulated the weight of real life; where we were once a child, we now find ourselves a grandmother - someone responsible for another life and another's dreams beyond our own.
For a moment or two, we see clearly. Nothing lasts forever, but in our passage we are all a part of that whole, that cycle.
